Chepstow Tutors asked me to produce a tutoring website using WordPress and integrate key features from their Tutor Cruncher account API. I also had to utilise existing brand assets for styling including the logo, colours, and typography, but the overall presentation was left to me. Their branding conveyed a sense of tradition and heritage but they were keen to be perceived as a modern, progressive company.

The first thing that struck me visually was the three curves in their emblem logo. I extended the use of these curves as a presentational feature; to both soften the website design and tie in the look and feel to the existing brand. I used the Tutor Cruncher API to fetch and display their Tutor portfolio and additional contact mechanisms for each service they provide. They preferred to manage these features outside of WordPress within their Tutor Cruncher account.
